Why are Wet Okole Jeep neoprene seat covers so popular?

By Robert B.

Although I went with the CoverCraft seat covers, Wet Okole's Jeep neoprene seat covers are still an awesome product. The only reason I went with the seat covers I have now was mainly because they were cheaper. If I had the extra money at the time, I definetly would have sprung for the Wet Okole neoprene seat covers for my Jeep, no questions asked.

I have seen tons of neoprene seat covers in Jeeps, and they are popular for a good reason. Jeeps are taken where most other vehicles would never go, the hot desert, swampy forests, and the cold artic, just to name a few. It is almost a necessity for neoprene seat covers to be in a Jeep taken into situations like that. As you well know, Jeeps are taken into some of the muddiest, wettest environments imaginable. They need the water proof protection that neoprene seat covers offer.

For those of you who are trying to figure out what is so special about neoprene seat covers, here is your answer. Naturally we are talking about seat covers for a Jeep, but the neoprene is what gives these seat covers a special meaning. Picture a wet suit for your seat, well not an actual wet suit, but a seat cover of that material. Wet Okole's Jeep neoprene seat covers have all of the same characteristics of wet suits. They are:

  • Soft - neoprene seat covers are soft and cushiony, so your getting extra padding that will make it easier on your body on those long trips in your Jeep!
  • Tight - Wetsuits are skin tight, and so are these. Wet Okole makes their neoprene seat covers custom for each vehicle, be it a Jeep Cherokee, Wrangler, or Liberty. These neoprene seat covers we fit very snuggly to your seats making them more attractive and more comfortable to sit on.
  • Color-Coordinated - Wet Okole's Jeep neoprene seat covers come in a variety of colors and styles. They can be made a single solid color, be multi colored (like the red and black covers pictured above), and even come in camo or hawaiian print.
  • Water Proof - This is a no brainer! Because these seat covers are made of neoprene, they keep those pop spills and mud from getting on your seats.

If I could do it all over again, I probably would have saved up for some Wet Okole neoprene seat covers. If their price tag is a little out of your price range, keep your eyes open for some generic neoprene seat covers for your Jeep, at places like Autozone or here online. They may not fit as good as some Wet Okoles, but they would be better than nothing!

Some great places that I've found that have neoprene seat covers, even the Wet Okole ones, include:

4Wheel Drive Hardware
Quadratec
